ABOUT US:
I am Rick DeYoung, and my wife and I are owners of The Homesteader’s Store. We hope to “Make your tough jobs easier”.
We desire to do this by offering high quality equipment for sale and for rent. We also plan to supply landscaping material, and eventually services.
My background has played an important role in our choosing the equipment for rent and for sale. My father was a homebuilder and backhoe operator.
My degree is in Industrial Education and I am certified to teach any of the trades and the use of their tools.
I then worked for Waukesha Engine as their Lead Instructor, training technicians, and as Warranty Manager, diagnosing engine failures.
I have also had my own farm and excavation equipment.
All of this has allowed me extensive experience using tools and equipment.
The equipment and tools that I have for rent, I first researched and selected to be the best for their application.
We believe that this experience in operating the equipment ourselves, and the proper use of the tools, will allow us to provide you with superior equipment and help you use it more effectively.
We are handling high quality lines of equipment for sale. We are privileged to offer these products. Soon we hope to add Kubota tractors and Bobcat skidsteers.
We will build our business around servicing everything we sell.
Since my background is in the service department, I desire to have a “state of the art” service facility.Our goal is to provide quality service in a timely fashion.
